Customer: Charm Pet Food
Problem description, challenge, limitations, goal: The goal was to restyle product and various packs. Unfortunately, there were many complications regarding the creation of the various packs on Illustrator.
Role: Work done with a classmate of mine. I played the role of graphic designer and I mainly dealt with the various packs and some mock-ups.
First, we searched for some competitors on web to find the right inspiration for the development of the work. Subsequently, we designed some drafts for the various packs and then moved on to the creation on Illustrator. We had to develop three packs: Charm Natura, Charm Canada and Charm Fiducia; I dealt with this last category. I looked for a right combination between the various colours of the packs and the images of dog and cat, trying to make the project as coherent as possible. After completing this phase of the work, I then moved on to designing the mock-ups. Thanks to the teacher's advice, we overcame some difficulties, others, unfortunately, persisted until the end of the project. We presented the work through a presentation, listing our design choices and showing the various mock-ups. Despite the interesting concept of the project, the final result developed, unfortunately, did not live up to expectations; some significant errors were made during the realization of the project and unfortunately this was affected, especially with regard to the final design phase.
